For the first time the African masters meet in Tunis to compete in the stadia and road events.
300 athletes followed the invitation including athletes from Belarus, France, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey and Ukraine.
After a great opening the events started in the athletics stadium of Tunisia.
Tunisia’s Athletics President Fathi Hachicha, WMA President Margit Jungmann and Africas Masters President Leonie Etong welcomed the athletes with motivating speeches.
