Every year European Masters Athletics awards, for each specialty, the European Best Masters.
This year the award ceremony for the track and field specialties will be done in Pescara, while for the Off Road Running category only the ceremony took place last Friday in Adelboden.
The award, one plaque and one diploma, was presented by the President Walentina Fedjuschina, the vice President competition Giovanni Tracanelli and the EMA panel member Jaume Ferret to the 2022 Best Masters Ana Criastina Aguado Mori (Spain) and Adolfo Accalai (Italy), for the excellent results obtained in 2022 which earned Ana a UTMB index of 554.
