But there were in total four world records. In fact, the Swedish Mattias Sunneborn got it in the M45 pentathlon with 4113 points, while Osmo Villanen of Finland reached the score of 4472 at his entry in the M80 category, to celebrate his 80th birthday (he was born on March 28, 1936). In the 60 meters final, the British Glyn Sutton set a remarkable 8.09, the new M80 world record. Then also two best European performances in 3000 meters: Silke Schmidt of Germany (10:41.89 in W55 category) and Luciano Acquarone of Italy (M85 with 15:47.14).
