On the second day of the European Masters Athletics Championships Indoor in Ancona, the Italian sprinter Mario Longo surpassed itself and, above all, his M50 world record of 60 meters . The result was expected, after his 7.10 which yesterday in the semifinals equaled the previous mark. It has been punctually materialized on the Palaindoor straight in a great final, running in 7.04. The 51-year-old had a notable career with the National team: among them, stands out the bronze medal on 4×100 at the European Championships in Split 1990.
