World (WBM) and European (EBM) best Masters athletes give insights into their personal handling of the covid-19 pandemic.
Donald Brown (M55) GBR – Men’s #1 Sprint EBM, #2 Sprint WBM: „Dear Fellow Masters Athletes, I am honoured to be invited by Kurt Kaschke, President of EMA, to share my thoughts on training in light of the coronavirus. I hope that my contribution will serve as a source of encouragement and inspiration to you. For me, 2020 will be a year when I downgrade my training but stay in shape and allow my body to rejuvenate. My focus is the indoor season for 2021, and to maintain enough fitness to compete in 2020 if restrictions are relaxed and competitions resume. I am very excited about the idea of recreating and reinventing quality training at home. This is a great opportunity for us to reinvent our training and focus even more intently on our weaknesses and improve them through strategic analysis.“
