Day 4 of the 2018 WMA Championships in Malaga

    Competition an Day 4 (Friday) of the 2018 World Masters Athletics Championships in Malaga continues with finals in the discus throw for men over 70, steeplechase, long hurdles, and completion of the decathlon.

    One of the highlights was the 2.000m steeplechase in W45. Minori Hayakari JAP set a new W45 world records in the 2.000m St. clocking 6:51:51 minutes.

    The highest score of the day in the decathlon reached Hubert Indra (M60, ITA) with 8.158 points. He was only a few points below his own word record of 8.202 points.

    Friday was an evening of finals in the 3.000m steeplechase (M35 – M55), with Teams of Europe winning four golds, five silvers, and three bronzes in the events.
