EMA Best Master Award 2023: The best of track racing

    Track races require intense and high level commitment, technique and preparation. The great performances of the winners are therefore the model for obtaining great results. We present the 2023 winners

    Sprints Women – Jane Horder – W65 – GB&N.I: an athlete with 9 World Records, 9 European Records and 11 British Record. Now think of an athlete with 41 British Championship Gold Medals, 11 European Championships Golds and 11 World Championship Golds

    Sprints Men – Lion Martinez – M45 – SWE3:Lion Martinez from Sweden, clinched gold in the M45 European Masters Championship this year. The Swede managed his racing journey with a super-fast speed of just 10.73. This man thus showed his actual strength and prowess on the track.

    Middle Distance Women – Alison Bourgeois – W70 – SUI
    : Gold Medal in the W70 1500m and Gold Medal in the W70 400m in Pescara after a great performance in Torun for Master indoor Championship too

    Middle Distance Men – Paul Forbes – M65 – GB&N.I.
    : He won double gold over 800m and 1500m at the World Masters Championships indoors and European Masters Championships outdoors. He also broke M65 world records in the 800m and 1500m

    Long Distance Women – Lucy Elliott – W55 – GB&N.I.
    she won European masters titles at 1500m, 5000m and the 8km cross-country.

    Long Distance Men – Fokke Kramer – M85 – GER
    : new world record in 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters.
