European Masters Athletics (EMA) is pleased to announce the publication of the Official Regulations of the EMA League 2025, a year-round meeting circuit dedicated to Masters athletes, designed to enhance and promote athletics through competitions of high level
.Competition Structure The 2025 EMA League includes seven races, distributed across different European countries throughout the year to allow athletes to compete in different seasons and contexts. The circuit consists of two indoor events and five outdoor events, selected to best represent the master athletics disciplines:
Indoor Events: Designed to open the season with a technical challenge in regulated conditions, the indoor events will offer athletes the opportunity to test themselves from the very first days of the year. Outdoor Events: The five outdoor events will represent the fundamental continuation of the EMA League,
with track races of all disciplines. Scoring System and Awards The regulation provides a scoring system based on results, which will be converted into points in each stage, producing a ranking that will gradually be implemented throughout the entire season
Our goal of the EMA League is to provide an excellence of international events that enhances the commitment of master athletes and promotes the development of athletics throughout Europe also as an opportunity for comparison, growth and inspiration, for all athletes who share a passion for sport and the continuous search for the best version of themselves.
