After the first stage held on May 10th in lloret de Mar (Spain), yesterday, under a bright sun , the second event of the Circuit took place on one of the French mountain running classics, the Montée du Ventoux: 15.6km with 1550m of elevation gain, a continuous climb to the summit.
Great performances of the Masters athletes: Marion Rouvier (W45) and the Algerian Adrien Chouchou (M35) got the gold, arriving both in second place overall.
On the other steps of the master podium Ekaterina Hiol (W35), Nathalie Perrone (W50), Mark Delpuech (M35) and William Avouac (M45)

European Masters Athletics invites all the Masters to register and participate to the third and fourth stage of the Circuit:
Stage 3 – Aviano Piancavallo (Italy)
Date: June 21, 2026
- The Challenge: 10 Miglia Internazionale Aviano Piancavallo (10 Miles uphill)
- What to expect: Pristine alpine trails, sharp technical stretches, and unbeatable Italian hospitality.
Stage 4 – Stâna de Vale (Romania)
- Date: July 10-11, 2026
- The Challenge: Stâna de Vale Trail Race
- What to expect: Deep mountain forests, technical tracks, and an breathtaking off-road experience in the Apuseni Mountains.
Remember, to qualify for the final EMA Circuit rankings, it is necessary to participate at least to two events in different locations.
