During a special event in Valvasone (Italy), organized by Atletica San Martino as part of the road to the Meduno 2026 WMMRC, the European Masters Athletics (EMA) presented two special awards.
With the presence of Manuela Levorato (FIDAL Vice President) and Ester Balassini (FIDAL Council Member, EMA Women’s Delegate, and WMA Women’s Committee Member), EMA Vice President Competition Giovanni Tracanelli honored:
Emma Maria Mazzenga (W90) – In 2024, Emma achieved an extraordinary feat by setting nine new world records and claiming the world title in the 200m, along with European indoor titles in the 60m, 200m, and 400m. She is a true symbol of dedication and passion, inspiring Masters athletes across Europe and beyond.
Severino Bozzer – EMA IT Manager and the essential force behind the smooth operation of the EMA League and all IT aspects of EMA events. His tireless work ensures the seamless delivery of our competitions.
