Mr. Martin Lichtenthaler, OC President 3LAENDERLAUF (3-countries race) is sure of the great success of the European Masters Athletics Championships Non Stadia 2022 in Basel due to the experience with the traditional 3LAENDERLAUF: “We can rely on the full support of Basel, Weil am Rhein (Germany) and St. Louis/Huningue (France). Furthermore, the big sport clubs stands behind our project and will support us with a large number of volunteers.”
The city of Basel can look back on a long and successful tradition of running events. This year the 3LAENDERLAUF celebrates an anniversary. On the WEB page [# https://3laenderlauf.org/de/home/] you can read: “Welcome to the 30th three countries race in Basel at Sunday may 17th, 2020. Basel is a city known for its trade fairs, as well as to the tri-border region. This is a unique race that passes through Switzerland (Basel), France (St. Louis, Huningue) and Germany (Weil am Rhein).”
