EMACS 2023 Pescara – Award ceremony for Best Masters Athletes 2022

    During the EMA General Assembly in Pescara, the presentation of the plaques for the best master athletes of the 2022 season also took place. Let’s remember who they are: in the women’s sprints the recognition went to Alexis Nicole (FRA), in the fast middle distance to Gilshinan ( IRE), in the long distance to Angela Copson (GBR), in the jumps to Frauke Viebahn (GER), in the throws to Mirja Kokko (FIN), in the road walk Maria Oriete Mendes (POR), in the 4×100 relay IRELAND with Avri Dillon, Kathryn McDevitt, Snezana Bechtina and Sinead O’Regan, in the combined events Barbara Gahling (GER) and in the Off Road Ana Cristina Aguado Mori (ESP already awarded in Adelboden) while the overall was Anne Gilshinan (IRE) . For the men the winners were: sprints Mensah Elliott (GBR), in the middle distance Francesco D’Agostino (ITA), in the long distance Alastair Walker (GBR), in the jumps Marco Segatel (ITA), in the throws Esa Kiuru (FIN) , in the race Walk Miguel Angel Carvajal Ortega (ESP) in the 4×100 relay the team from GREAT BRITAIN and NORTHERN IRELAND made up of Ronnie Hunter, John Wright, Peter Ilo and Michael Vassilou, in the combined events Jorge Sanchez Simon (ESP), in the off road Adolfo Accalai (ITA, also previously awarded in Adelboden). The overall is instead Esa Kiuru (FIN). They were awarded the plaque by the EMA President and the diploma. Compliments !!!!
