A sunny day in the beautiful Janske Lazne Colonnade Square, a rich cultural program, a Teams parade with music and majorettes: all the premises for a great EMA european masters mountain running championships. After the official welcome speeches pronounced by mr. Stepan (Governor), mr. Hradecky (Mayor of Janske), mr. Adam (Deputy Mayor of Upice), mr. Varhanik (Czech Athletic Federation President), mr. Jean Thomas (EMA vice President) and mr. Skliba (LOC President), the Championships were declared open. Today almost 400 athletes will compete in another sunny day, making this day unforgettable.
