Many athletes and family members have fun during the competitions there because the distance to the track is very close. Nice cafes and good restaurants around the stadium makes it easy to sit together with friends and chat about the events.
EMA Marketing Manager Michael Hausler came to Malaga with his wife Elke and close friends to participate in shotput and discus. “I just love to be back in athletics because I always enjoyed the spirit I could share with friends. Medals are nice but not that important.” His wife Elke is a long distance runner and she was happy a couple of days ago, because she was honoured with the bronze medal.
