41 countrys were represented at this years EMACI in Ancona, and for the first time Kosovo has athletes at an European Masters Championships.
Among those who where present at the meeting in Ancona, was also General Secretary of IAAF and Vice President of EA, Jean Garcia. He told the assembly about the intricacies of international athletics has experienced over the past year. Among other things, doping problems that have been revealed in Russia, and the job IAAF President Sir Sebastian Coe has started to combat doping.
On behalf of EA Mr. Garcia expressed appreciation for the excellent collaboration between EA and EMA , and pointed out that European Athletics is at the forefront of developing our sports “athletics for life”.
