Lothar Huchthausen (M85, GER, LG Altmark) achieved the following results: Javelin (400g) 32.19 (European record M85); Hammer (3kg) 35.36 (German record M85); Discus (1kg) 26.19; Shot Put (3kg) 10.34.
Lothar Huchthausen best javelin throw pierced the turf at 32.19m which surpassed the 18 year old European M85 record held by Klaus Langner at 31,72m.
Later, in the hammer throw he scored 35.36m to improve his own German best in the M85 age category by 39cm.
The event was well organized. Hygiene and distance rules in view of the Corona crisis were observed. Despite temperatures of over 30 degrees, the versatile athlete Lothar also showed excellent throwing and discus throwing performances.
