Guido Müller (TSV Vaterstetten, Germany) was already a legend during his lifetime.
The always friendly and helpful sprinter and hurdler began his sporting career at the age of 18 when he won his first title at a regional championship.
This was followed by 48 world titles, 103 European titles and 156 German titles as a Masters athlete.
He ended his career in 2019, a career that was crowned three times when he was voted ‘Best Masters in the World’ (2004, 2009, 2014) and twice ‘Best Masters in Europe’.
Guido Müller still holds 12 world records, 26 European records and 38 German records.
At the age of 86, Guido Müller passed away after a long serious illness, shortly before his birthday.
