World Masters Athletics (WMA) presented its 2019 Athletes of the Year Awards on 30 January. Eight European athletes were included in the prestigious list. In addition, seven other categories had European runners-up. Earl Fee (M90, CAN, Men’s #1 Overall) and Neringa Jakstiene (W56, USA, Women’s #1 Overall, #2 Jumps and #2 Combined Events) were named WMA Best Masters 2019 Overall.

- Evaun B. Williams (W80, GBR): Female Thrower of the Year
- Said Boudalia (M50, ITA): Male Long Distance Athlete of the Year
- Carmelo Rado (M85, ITA): Male Thrower of the Year
- Rolf Geese (M75, GER): Male Combined Event Athlete of the Year
- Ian Richards (M70, GBR): Male Race Walker of the Year
European Runners-Up
- Riet Jonkers-Slegers (W75, NED): Female Sprinter of the Year Runner-Up
- Clare Elms (W55, GBR): Female Middle Distance Athlete of the Year Runner-Up
- Clare Elms (W55, GBR): Female Long Distance Athlete of the Year Runner-Up
- Ian Richards (M70, GBR): Male Overall Athlete of the Year Runner-Up
