Another great edition at the Italian Masters Indoor Championships in Ancona, where about 1400 athletes took part. Twenty-eight new national age group records have been set, but above all four world records. In middle distance events, 95-year-old Antonio Nacca shattered three global marks at 3000m (22:52.15), 1500m (10:55.85) ending with 800m (5:42.52). Female veteran Emma Mazzenga clocked 46.28 at 200m setting the new W85 world best time. Giuseppe Ottaviani, born in 1916, competed in long jump with a 0,77 mark and shared again his passion for athletics with friends.

Among the most notable performances, Davide Raineri stormed to victory in the 1500m to claim M45 national record in 3:59.22, while sprinter Alfonso De Feo impressed at almost 55 years of age running 400m in 53.92 and then completed the one-lap 200m indoor race with an astonishing 24.12. The event from February 22nd to 24th had a full coverage in free live video streaming operated by FIDAL Servizi.
