Masters‘ Challenge in Sarregemines (FRA)

    DSCN8174 rAthletes from Belgium, France, and Germany enjoyed the traditional Masters‘ Challenge Athletics‘ Meeting. The host city of the 8th meeting was the “Ville Sportive” Sarregemines in France.
    The Athletic Federations elected their best masters of M40/50 and W40/50 to take part in this challenge and invited them to come to the “Stade de Pierre de Coubertin”.

    On the sunny and warm autumn day most athletes benefit of the last great competition – before Perth will call the masters to the World Championships
    at the end of October.

    Jean Thomas – President of the French Masters Athletics – and the team of the region and Sarregemine’s Athletic Club prepared an excellent masters’ challenge.

    Before all athletes and team managers were invited to a friendship dinner in the evening, the French  team of M40 and M50 was passed the winning trophy of their age group. This time the German women did the double and took the winning trophy of W40 and W50 back home.

    Next challenge might be in Belgium – but most important “Sport has no borders …”
