The British Masters lost one of his most competent official in athletics.
He died peacefully in a nursing home the day before after a long illness.
We will still remember him as a man with visions and competence.
It is a pity he could not make his dream come true to host the European
Masters for Non-Stadia Championships in London – the burocracy stopped his ambitions.
He was always very critical but constructive in his critics towards organizers.
His girls and boys of the British team were always in his focus – he was responsible
to iniciated a high standard in masters athletics.
Fair well Maurice! We will keep a place for you in our hearts.
