My 2019 calendar of photos of masters athletes is OUT!

I’m on a mission – and I’m certainly not alone here! – to raise awareness of the extraordinary achievements of you masters athletes amongst a broader audience. One of the ways I do this is by publishing a wall calendar each year based on my photographs during the past 12 months. This year (2019) it’s the turn of international greats in the 60+ – 100+ age groups and I’m hoping it’s my best calendar yet!

The stars who will inspire us every day and every month are: living middle-distance legend Earl Fee, Canada (January), Chile’s multi-talented and agile Mirtha Perez (February), multiple world-record holder (and breaker) Charles Fee, USA (March), China’s awesome race-walker Jingjie Pan (April), Reinhard Dahms, Germany’s all-rounder, showing elegance and determination with the javelin (May), Australia’s awesome world record holder Marge Allison (June), India’s Hardev Singh, triumphantly colourful in his late 80s as he leaps over hurdles (July), Great Britain’s Vilma Thompson, poised and focused in the shot-put event (August), Paulus Makkonen from Finland approaching the pole-vault (September), Great Britain’s Sue Dassie embodying speed and power in the relay (October), Brazil’s utterly astonishing 90 year old, Yoshiyuki Shimuzu running with the fluidity of a teenager (November) and Man Kaur (India), at 102, showing there’s no need to stop competing joyfully in your 90s.

If you’re one of these names, and you haven’t already received a complimentary calendar from me, please get in touch. I’m trying to track you all down! If anyone else would like a copy please go to my website http://alexrotasphotography.co.uk/#purchase where you can get one via PayPal. The calendar is £10 (ten British pounds) plus package & postage and it’s easy to order. Almost all the photos are from the World Masters Athletics Championships in Malaga, September 2018. Here’s a selfie of me in Malaga – do say hi next time you see me!

    Have a great 2019 everyone.
