Pärnu 2026, valida s Baltic Open Championship and EMA League 2026 stage, has been a great success.
Waiting for the last four stages of the EMA League 2026 (https://european-masters-athletics.org/ema-league-2026/), scheduled in London, Liepaja, Klaipeda and Bellinzona, here the report we received from the Organisers.
The Baltic Open and Estonian Championships for the 35+ age groups, held on 8–9 August at the Pärnu Beach Stadium, have concluded.
The competition featured 441 athletes from a total of 17 countries. In the Baltic classification, 802 medals were awarded in total: 338 gold, 267 silver, and 197 bronze.
Estonia won the most medals (461 in total), Latvia came second (175 in total), and Finland took third place, narrowly ahead of Lithuania (65 medals in total).
A total of 24 new Estonian records were set at the competition.
In the standings among the Baltic states, Estonia proved by far the strongest, collecting 172 gold medals — more than Latvia (74) and Lithuania (32) combined. This secured the Baltic Open winner’s traveling trophy for the Estonian team.
