Porto Santo, the Golden Island, ready for the EMACNS 2024
Today the EMA Delegation composed by VP Competition Giovanni
Tracanelli and Technical Delegate Non Stadia Vesna Repic, together
with the AARAM President and Representatives Egidio Olim, Luis
Policarpo and Nelio Parreira, paid a technical site visit to the
Island of Porto Santo (the "Golden Island"), which will be the scene,
from 15 to 19 of May 2024, of the EMACNS.
In the Morning the Delegation met the President and the Vice President
of the Porto Santo City, Nuno Filipe Melim Batista and Arthur Josè
Alves Nunes Ferreira.
The President highlighted the importance of this collaboration not
only from a sporting point of view but also from a tourist point of
view to raise awareness of Porto Santo, whose beach is considered the
most beautiful in Europe.
The EMA and AARAM Delegations dedicated then the afternoon to a
technical meeting and to check all the venues and the locations in
order to offer to the european masters the best conditions to compete
in the road running, race walking and nordic walking events.
