Two days of full immersion marked the site visit in Catania by Technical Delegate Vesna Repić Ćujić and VP Competition Giovanni Tracanelli, as preparations continue for the 2026 European Masters Non-Stadia Championships.
Field inspections, meetings, and in-depth discussions focused on evaluating course standards, logistics, safety, hospitality, and overall services. These activities confirmed the strong commitment of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), lead by Giorgio and Gianfranco Belluomo, which is working on all fronts to deliver not only a high-level sporting event, but also a truly immersive experience—one that will leave participants with lasting memories of the warmth and beauty of Sicily.
During the visit, representatives of EMA and the LOC also met with Sebastiano Leonardi, President of FIDAL Sicily, who assured the Federation’s full support for the event.
A few minor adjustments identified during the site visit will be communicated shortly on the event website and included in the updated handbook, to be published in the coming days.
In the meantime, registrations remain open. Take advantage of the early-bird rate until January 31, with the final registration deadline set for April 10. Catania is waiting for you!
