European Masters Athletics (EMA), in close cooperation with the Local Organising Committee, is pleased to announce the release of a new updated edition of the official Competition Handbook for the European Masters Off-Road Running Championships (EMORRC) 2026.
This updated document includes the finalized event timetable, comprehensive technical course layouts, registration guidelines, and essential logistical information for teams and athletes.
The Organisers and the EMA are dedicated to delivering a safe, world-class, and memorable championship experience in the scenic region of Brașov County. With the framework established, we now warmly invite Europe’s and World Masters athletes to formalize their participation.
Key Information Summary:
- Championship Dates: September 10–13, 2026
- Location: Râșnov, Transylvania, Romania
- Final Registration Deadline: August 10, 2026 (23:59 BST) – No late registrations accepted
- Accompanying Events: Open races will be held as part of the Râșnov Medieval Run and Festival, allowing friends, family, and non-championship runners to experience the venue.
Athletes are encouraged to complete their registrations and arrange travel and accommodation promptly to secure their places in beautiful Transylvania. If an athlete is not sure to participate, he can buy the cancellation option, with the right to claim for a refund in case of withdrawn (the claim will be accepted only if sent before the registration deadline).
