| In athletics there are seperate European and World Championships for athletes 35+. They are classified in age-groups of 5 years. Cees Stolwijk from Holland has just become 65 years old. He won silver and bronze medals before. His great wish: a gold medal and the national anthem played. |  |

The Great Race
On the World Championship Athletics Indoor in Portland USA 2016 there is a promotional race for mastersport.The World Master Athletics organization invites the six fastest men of the world -60 and over- for a 800 metres run. One of these athletes -Marcel Scholten- makes a film of this event. He is doing short interviews with the other five athletes and makes a movierecording of them watching their own GREAT RACE”.
