 | The 7th WMACI in Daegu has been started March 19th and in the opening ceremony attended Stanley Perkins – WMA President, Kwon Young-Jin Mayor of Daegu, Lee Kee-Heung – President of Korean Sports & Olympic Committee, Bae Ho-Won – President of Korean Association of Athletics Federation and hunters athletes from 75 world countries. |
After official presentation flags parade presented in Daegu the organizers performed sport and artistic program, including Tekwon-Do a group performance show with many acrobatics effects.
In the next part of the opening ceremony the LOC invited very well known singer stars in Korea and Asia region who gave a wonderful concert.
In the world championships in Daegu has entered 4325 athletes of which more that 60% (2820) consist Korean athletes!
We have to agreed that this is the one of the higher World Indoor score at this moment.
It should be noted that Technical Information Center and Organizing Committee staff is working perfectly, further more friendly and helpful volunteers are standing in every corner and helps athletes.
The WMACI competition will end on March 25th 2017.
