Jaume Ferret, Member of statistician EMA group:

„During the Valencia Masters Indoor Athletics Championships ( 06/11/2021 ) in this Spanish city, athlete EVA MARIA GADEA ( W50 ) set a new world record in the triple jump with a mark of 10.95m.

The former world record holder is Valentyna Krepkina of Ukraine, who jumped 10.79m in Daegu (KOR) on 23/03/2017.”

M55 Decathlon 8312 – Thomas Stewens (GER) (# record list).

    Thomas Stewens:

„This was a big goal: I am currently the World and European Decathlon Champion (M50) and have set several pentathlon world records (M40, 45, 50) indoors and outdoors, but I have never been able to set a decathlon world record, despite this being my number 1 goal for the last 3 age groups! I am very happy and thankful for all the help from my family, my coach Amaliya Sharoyan and so many friends!“

To add: According to the EMA record list, the German Rolf Geese achieved 8487 points in the decathlon M55 in 1999. However, Geese’s score was not approved by WMA as a world record because the javelin weight does not comply with the current rules.
